Long Beach Woman Spirit is hosting their annual Summer Solstice Fair, Saturday, June 6, 2016, between 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The fair will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Long Beach (UUCLB), 5450 E Atherton St, Long Beach, California 90815. Opening circle will be at 10:00 a.m. There is a $5 donation at the entrance that includes a raffle ticket. Every hour they select winning raffle tickets, so stay alert.
Each summer this fair brings together local vendors, entertainment, and organizations to celebrate the turning of the wheel and the summer solstice. It’s a friendly place and everyone is welcome to attend and enjoy the festivities.
The Orange County Local Council of the Covenant of the Goddess (OCLC CoG) will be on hand to share in the festivities. Their booth, located near the stage area, provides a location where members can gather. OCLC also provides information about COG, how to become a member through the local chapter, and benefits of being a member. OCLC will have on hand evil-eye bracelets for sale. Proceeds help the local council provide workshops and public rituals for our community.
There are a couple of our local OCLC CoG members who will also have booths at the Fair. Full Moon Blessings, who offers a special line of magical gifts and supplies that have been blessed by the full moon, will be located in the meadow. Stop by to meet Suzan Gagliano and check out the amazing products she has created.
One of our board members, Camille Lockyer, will be selling her handmade, natural gemstone, Goddess beaded jewelry. Camille has been making gemstone bracelets and beaded, unique carved gemstone goddess pendants and totem animal designs for over seven years and brings her quality designs each year to the fair.
Mary Stuart, another board member of OCLC, will be a first-time vendor at the fair this year. As a new entrepreneur, she will be on hand providing readings to attendees. She helps you understand how to connect, receive, or interpret messages from spiritual guides, guardians, and angels. Her focus is providing people with the knowledge to gain awareness and understanding of the challenges of their life.
